Bird Control Systems

The need for bird control systems:

There are many different reasons why public and private sector organisations, and private individuals would require installation of bird control systems;

Noise/Mess:

The gathering of many birds, often in their thousands, do make a lot of noise, which can be very annoying and intrusive. They also leave behind an unsightly mess from food scraps to bird faeces. This can damage buildings and is very costly to clean up. This mess, if left long enough can lead to infestations of rodents, leading to increased costs to resolve the problem, health issues, spreading of diseases, and potential litigation claims.

Health Issues and Diseases:

Bird’s faeces are unhealthy, even potentially lethal. At least 60 transmissible diseases have been associated with birds and exposure to their faeces. Bird faeces left on pavements and floors could lead to slip/trip hazards. These factors have the potential of leading towards costly and unnecessary legal action and insurance claims.

Damage to Stock:

Regardless of which industry sector you are involved in, you will at some point be holding stock, whether it is food, clothing or machinery, all of these can be destroyed or damaged by birds. The cost effect to this can be extremely expensive. This can be totally avoided or certainly greatly reduced by the implementation of an effective bird control system(s).
