Edge protection barrier system

PMC Safeside Ltd can provide the 'easi-edge' edge protection barriers that offer a complete safety solution. They simply bolt or clamp on to structural steelwork to provide an instant protection barrier.

The system has been designed particularly to allow access to operatives carrying out exterior work.

Where site conditions allow, there is the added benefit of ground level installation of easi-edge and advice can be given on the methods of how to attach the system.

While robust, the barriers are lightweight and easy to manoeuvre making them simple to put in place. This tried and tested safety solution ensures that potential hazards are reduced.

 Edge Protection Barriers

The Steel mesh barrier can be used instead of tubular scaffolding. It is very simple to assemble and provides a clear warning for edge hazards.

This system provides a safe option when providing temporary edge protection on mezzanine floors.

It is widely accepted in the industry that mesh barriers are more suitable than tubular fittings because:

• Guardrails, toe board and mesh barrier in one product
• Designed and manufactured in compliance with EN 13374, class A and B

The steel mesh barrier can also be adjusted in height without being dismantled. This means that the barrier can be installed on a steel beam or concrete surface and then simply raised or lowered as required.
